It's always exciting to see a local theatre company take on an ambitious project. It's downright thrilling when that project succeeds on every level. Director Scott Guggenheim uses stylized movement and sound effects to represent the Jewish family's life before hiding. This unusual opening inspires the first of many goose bumps in this powerful show. Shannon Miner gives an absolutely stunning performance as Anne... she is completely believable as she progresses from a teasing, silly youngster to a blossoming woman. 'Yours, Anne' succeeds brilliantly as a piece of theatre. It also scores very high marks as an educational tool. Both children and adults will learn a valuable lesson from her story."
